About Me
Hey! I’m Sarah - a writer-director based in Los Angeles, California. Storytelling has been my passion for as long as I can remember, and it led me down the path to receiving my MFA in film directing from UCLA in 2023. When I’m not writing and directing I production coordinate commercials and music videos. It scratches the part of my brain that loves organization and logistics! Coordinating has granted me the incredible opportunity to learn from leading directors and producers around the world. Last year I spent nine weeks working abroad! In 2025, I wrapped up my first feature, which doubled as my thesis at UCLA. It’s called Flesh and Blood, and you can find out more about it on this website.
I’m originally from a small city in Upstate New York, where I grew up as the only child of two scientists (botanists, to be exact). My entire family other than my parents live in my mother’s home country, Argentina. I travel there yearly to enjoy dulce de leche and media lunas (Argentine croissants), and to visit my family and friends. I tell everyone I know that it’s a beautiful country and well worth a visit!
When I’m not behind my desk working on a script you can find me going on walks, hanging with cute dogs, or nestled on the couch reading a good book. I’m always ready to take on whatever comes my way!
